Art Feast at Chesterfield Arts

Art Feast at Chesterfield Arts. Almost every year since it started, I have donated a painting to the Chesterfield Arts Fund Raiser titled Art Feast. I was going to donate this painting, but I don't think I will be attending. I am going to paint another painting for them. The painting is on a 9x12" wooden panel.

Last Weekend

Last Weekend. Last weekend I went to the Bevo Mill area in South Saint Louis. I just couldn't get into painting. I didn't find the Mill all that interesting and my effort was awful. I drove around looking at the little houses in the area and painted this one. I realized that I had brought my bad paints and that is a big mistake. You've got to use the good stuff, at least I do.
Orchid in Chinese Bowl

Orchid in a Chinese Bowl. There are all these orchids here so I will be painting them. My mother is a huge orchid fan. Hopefully, the plants will cooperate and bloom! The weather is starting to get cold and I won't be painting outside as much. I still have many ideas for landscapes so I won't totally abandon them over the winter months.
IMAGE NAME

Log in the Creek. Logs in the water are hard for me to paint. I am working on a larger painting with fallen trees in the water. This is a study for that painting.
