The still life I painted in New York. The painting is 11x14 inches on a wooden panel. I loved the north light of that studio.

Shawn and David were out this weekend. They are painting in front of the Old Stable Bridge.
Cloudy Sunday Morning It was quite cloudy when I painted near the Old Stable Bridge in Forest Park. But the park is so beautiful and inspiring. Slowly the sun burned off the clouds and it got quite bright.

This summer I painted in New York. I painted in the 4th floor studio of the Art Students' League. The studio is bathed in north light from a clerestory window. The studio is studded with plaster casts of old masterpieces. The corner sink has a plaster cast above like a big moon hovering over us.
Labor Day Weekend. My second painting of the weekend. There is a bit of fall in the air.
