Field Flowers - A Tile
I've been fascinated by the Tile Club. James Whistler, John Singer Sargent and Edwin Austin Abbey, three of my favorite artists were members. I did a tile, too. It's been fired and can be used and cleaned with household cleaners.

A Flourish of painting, the flowers almost wave. Heavy impasto, fluid brush strokes, this is a wild still life.

I've been doing a series of the icicle pansies. If they come through the winter I'll be so pleased. Meanwhile, I can enjoy them now that the days are cool and sunny.

Autumn at Indian Creek
It is so hard to say good bye to Indian Creek for the winter. The weather is colder now and soon we will close the place up. So many changes out here. The old slab bridge has been completely removed so there is no swimming hole. So much mud has washed in from the old road. Next spring will provide new scenes and vistas. Still now we have the beautiful color and the last of the wild flowers.

Banana muffin. My mother always made them with chocolate chips. I'm wainting for this one to cool before I devour it.

Saint Louis Art Fair. I enjoyed Sheldon Johnson's new direction. His art has gotten much more geometric. James Petran is an outstanding painter and it was a joy to see his stuff again.
